Consent - Freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of wishes, by a statement or clear affirmative action, agreeing to processing.
In the CIPP/E body of knowledge, Consent comes up under Ch 14.2 - Legal basis; Ch 7.1 - Background; Ch 7.2.1 - Consent.
Consent in context
- Three legislative procedures apply ([[ordinary procedure|ordinary]], [[consultation procedure|consultation]], [[consent procedure|consent]]), and on data protection the ==ordinary procedure== applies, guaranteeing Parliament's full influence. (European Parliament)
